Disclaimer of Liability for Product Deterioration During Shipping

 

At QUING, we take great care to ensure the highest quality of our products. Our chocolates are carefully packaged, and all necessary precautions are taken to preserve their freshness and integrity prior to dispatch.

 

However, it is important to note that chocolate is a delicate product that must be stored at an ideal temperature between 15°C and 18°C (59°F and 64°F). Once the package has been handed over to a postal or shipping service, we can no longer guarantee that proper storage conditions will be maintained throughout the delivery process. Exposure to temperature fluctuations, handling shocks, or unsuitable storage conditions are entirely beyond our control.

 

Accordingly, the customer expressly accepts this risk upon placing an order. In the event that products arrive damaged due to shipping conditions, including but not limited to melted, broken, or otherwise compromised items, no refund, replacement, or compensation shall be granted. Such circumstances do not constitute a fault on our part, provided the products were shipped in perfect condition.

 

We therefore encourage our customers to take this into account, especially during warmer periods, before confirming their order.

⚠️ Important: Orders placed via our online store must be picked up the same day. Due to the fresh and perishable nature of our products, any order not collected on the same day will neither be replaced nor refunded.

2. Free Delivery in Geneva and Surrounding Areas

We offer free delivery in Geneva, to your home or office, for orders starting at CHF 75.–.


If your order is placed between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., same-day delivery is possible. Otherwise, your order will be delivered the following day between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

For orders below this threshold or outside the Geneva region, delivery methods and fees will vary depending on the total order volume and the final delivery destination. All applicable options and costs will be clearly displayed during the checkout process before your order is confirmed.

Please ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery, as our products are fresh and perishable, and require immediate refrigeration or cool storage upon receipt.

 

QUING and SW Agency Sàrl disclaim any liability for deterioration resulting from delayed receipt or improper storage conditions.

3. National and International Shipping

Shipping within Switzerland and abroad is available. Shipping fees vary depending on:

 

  • The destination,

  • The order volume, and

  • The total weight of the items.


All shipping costs are clearly indicated at checkout before the order is confirmed. We use trusted courier partners and, whenever possible, temperature-controlled packaging to preserve the freshness of our chocolates. However, delivery conditions may vary by region and we cannot guarantee the same level of freshness for destinations not eligible for express or refrigerated shipping.

4. Freshness and Storage Conditions

Our chocolates are handcrafted in Switzerland using traditional artisanal techniques by a master chocolatier. They are fresh and perishable, and must be stored at cool or refrigerated temperatures as indicated on the packaging.

Once delivered or picked up, the responsibility for proper storage lies with the customer. SW Agency Sàrl cannot be held liable for damages resulting from improper handling or storage after the product has left our hands.

5. Production Timing and Non-Obligation to Deliver on Specific Dates

As each QUING chocolate is made by hand in limited batches, our production is subject to craftsmanship timeframes and the availability of high-quality raw ingredients.

We therefore reserve the right to delay delivery, especially in the event of:

  • Limited access to specific ingredients,

  • High production demand, or

  • Logistical constraints affecting our artisanal process.


No obligation to deliver on a fixed date shall be assumed, unless expressly confirmed in writing by SW Agency Sàrl. The customer understands and accepts that delays may occur in the interest of maintaining the quality and authenticity of our handmade Swiss chocolates.

6. Legal Notice

This Shipping and Delivery Policy is governed by Swiss law. Any dispute arising from the application or interpretation of this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva, unless otherwise required by mandatory legal provisions.
